Black Tie Optional: No need for formal tuxedos but please wear suits with jackets and ties for men and long dresses for women. This is a winter wedding, so we anticipate that the dress code will not only be elegant but will help keep our guests warm and comfortable. For inspiration try the links below. Due to the formality of the wedding, the desire to keep the wedding smaller, and the travel involved for most guests, we have elected to invite only the guests whose names are listed on the invitations. We are requesting the presence of many of our friends and family but we plan to have the event in an adult level of formality and this does not suit inviting all children, though we love each of them.

Our ceremony will be "unplugged", meaning we ask that all guests keep their phones away and on silent. We have hired exceptional photographers to capture the day, so you all may relax and enjoy it.

While transportation is provided for all guests from the Springhill Suites hotel, if guests elect to drive, there is a large parking lot available at the venue. Guests are permitted to leave their car in the parking lot overnight after the wedding and pick it up on Sunday morning.

If you forgo the provided transportation from the Springhill Suites, and you prefer to Uber, we recommend you schedule it in advance. The venue is about 20-25 minutes south of the major city area (Overland Park/Olathe) and it is possible fewer rides would be available later into the night.
